Maldon Angling Society had their Presidents Trophy match this week at their new Slough East lake. Captain Keith Leverett with the committee team and the Presidents team. It was a hard fought match with 18 anglers using every method possible but the end result was the committee team with 40lbs 2ozs and the Presidents team with 35lbs 15ozs.

The best fish was a common carp of 12lbs 3ozs. Caught by Russell Samuels which gave him The Roy Samuels memorial trophy for the biggest fish.
